About the Project
An idea close to our hearts.
A powerful initiative.
A real impact.
Patty’s Child Clinics Pakistan provides expectant mothers and their children with local, comprehensive medical care and follow-up support – from the first day of pregnancy through delivery to check-ups, vaccinations and essential postnatal care.
What is particularly important to us:
Relieving women of worry, fear and uncertainty – and giving children the best possible medical care for their first years of life.
Pregnancy in Pakistan should be a time full of confidence, security and joy.

The Founder
A project
born out of gratitude.
Patricia Poetis is the happy mother of four healthy children.
All of her pregnancies and births were attended by medical safety, preventive care and modern support – a privilege that is by no means a given worldwide.
Moved by her impressions from numerous visits to Pakistan, where medical care is inadequate in many places and poverty is rife, Patricia Poetis and her husband Dr Pantelis Christian Poetis decided in 2012 to launch a project to support women and newborns.
This led to the creation of Patty's Child Clinics Pakistan – in close cooperation with the Lions Club München-Pullach and the Christoffel-Blindenmission.

WHY Pakistan?
Why our help is
urgently needed
According to the WHO, around 99% of all cases of maternal and newborn mortality occur in developing countries.
With over 255 million inhabitants, Pakistan is one of the most populous countries in the world – and also one of the most affected.
Remote regions lack medical infrastructure, trained personnel and basic equipment.
This is where Patty's Child Clinics comes in – with a targeted, sustainable and locally anchored approach.
